Kim Jong-un, North Korea’s chief of state, is currently in Hanoi, Vietnam, for his summit with Donald Trump. An event that filled all the rooms of the hotel where he lives.

As for the leader of North Korea, this is the Meliá Hanoi, according to our colleagues from the American channel CNN. Belonging to the chain of hotels based in Spain, the Meliá Hanoi opened in Ly Thuong Kiệt street in 1999. Located in the historical heart of the city, it is also about a kilometer and a half from the embassy from North Korea.

It has 306 rooms and suites whose prices vary between $108 for the first price room and $350 for a suite. This range does not include the price of the presidential suite, which the hotel refuses to reveal.
In the first price room, the Deluxe room, there are king size rooms or single beds rooms, a large work desk with executive chairs, a stocked minibar and tea and coffee making facilities, two bottles of water a day, tea and coffee with Local daily newspapers and English news papers, Wi-Fi and free access to the outdoor pool, fitness center, sauna and steam room. For larger budgets, the Grand Premium room also includes breakfast, laundry service, welcome amenities, an additional 42 ” flat screen TV, iron and ironing board, sofa, large Desk, Kimono and cotton bathrobes. It must be between $180 and $290 for the latter.
Like Heads of State, it is possible to book a suite, which surely will not be in the same price range. For a budget between $222 and $352, it is possible to stay in the suite level room. In addition to the previous elements, there is a living room, a work area and a bedroom separate from other spaces. Access to luggage carriers 24 hours a day is included in the rate, as is the possibility of late check-out until 16:00.
A welcome drink is offered with a fruit basket in the room, a breakfast in the morning, an afternoon tea service and evening snacks. Free access to the meeting room is allowed three hours a day.
