It is not easy to avoid being contaminated by germs when living with a companion or a roommate sick, in the same housing. To avoid getting stuck in your turn, here are some useful tips.

Get vaccinated

To protect yourself from the flu virus, vaccination is the first thing to do. This does not always prevent the disease, but the vaccine reduces the risk of complication or death.

Wear protections

If you live in the same apartment with several, it is better to appoint a person to care for the patient and to keep others away. To equip a mask and gloves for this mission is not superfluous.

Avoid contagious people

Influenza transmission can be done only by being near a person who coughs, flies, sneezes, or even speaks next to you. Within two meters of a seized person, you can be quite contaminated.

Avoid touching your face with your hands

If you touch objects with flu germs and then rub your face, the virus will enter your body more easily. That’s why it’s important to wash your hands with soap.

Disinfect the furniture

When flu is around, cleaning tables and furniture with soap and water is very effective in reducing the number of germs. But to completely destroy them, you need a good disinfectant. Mix a little bleach with water, it will do very well.

Put the stuck person “in quarantine”

The germs of the flu are everywhere, on all objects in your home. Your spouse is sick? Tell him to touch only his own business.

Do not use the towel of a sick person

Wash your hands when you live in the same home as a stuck person, that’s a good thing. But it’s even better if you do not use the same towel as when you wipe your hands.
